Christian Association for Medicalmission and Peoplesdevelopment (CAMP) a non-profit Organization, Committed to the cause of the Dalits, Tribal and fisher communities - poor and marginalized in the rural and urban areas of Guntur and West Godavari Districts irrespective of their caste, creed and religion. The objective of the organization is to work for facilitating the poor to rise from poverty and vulnerability through self-help and collective action towards improvement of their environment, livelihood patterns and proper prioritization of their lives. The CAMP initiative was started in Ponnur, Guntur District in 1992, by a team of committed individuals drawn together by their concern for the deplorable conditions of Dalit, Tribal.
