EDUCATION – Bharat Vikas Sanstha Delhi is working on Education on deprived children and women who are living in slums and unauthorized colonies in South North and East Delhi. About 1000 children get education through Nonformula, and Remedial Education. Every year BVSR provides basic education and get admission in Govt.Schools. About 300 children get mainstreamed in Govt.School every year by BVSR. Study Tour, Theatre workshops, sports, drawing & paintings, Balsabha activities are organized. Children participate in cultural program, Yuv Utsav organized by YMCA Delhi every year. Monthly meetings In house training for staff are organized to enhance capacity of staff. HEALTH - BVSR is working on HIV/AIDS among1000 Female Sex Workers in South Delhi. BVSR provide free condoms for safe sex behavior to FSWs, treatment for Sexual Transmitted Disease. FSWs are referred for HIV testing to ICTC. Awareness about HIV/AIDS are given to target community to prevent threat of spread of HIV/AIDS. Crisis Management committee and 6 Self Help Groups have been formed among Female Sex Workers. Health Camp, Exhibition, Focus Group Discussion are held to make Female Sex Workers aware of HIV/AIDS. This project is supported by Bharat Vikas Sanstha Aids Control Society Delhi. in South Delhi. Adolescent get counseling on HIV/AIDS and adolescent care and personnel hygiene. BVSR is working on Reproductive and Child Health. The organization is working for immunization of children and women, safe delivery, ANC and PNC, Family planning, and adolescent care. Health Mela, Health Education Camp, staff capacity building program are organized. VOCATIONAL TRAINING - BVSR is workng on Empowering Adolescent girls through Education and Vocational Training in Computer Education, Cutting & Tailoring and Beautician. Every year 200 adolescent girls get training from BVSR. 6 monthly certificate course are provided to the student in collaboration of Jan Sikshan Sansthan Prayas sponsored by Min. of HRD. This project is supported by Vibha. Child Centered Community Development Program - BVSR is workng with Plan India for child centered community development programme in sector-15,16 Dwarka South West Delhi covering 1000 children for sponsorship. Children club, Self Help groups of women have been formed. Awareness programme is organized on child rights and education.
