Shri Ujwal R. Lahoti Appointed as Chairman of TEXPROCIL

Pursuant to the 62^nd Annual General Meeting of The Cotton Textiles Export Promotion Council (TEXPROCIL) held on 21^st November, 2016, Shri Ujwal R. Lahoti, who was earlier holding the post of Vice Chairman, has taken charge as Chairman - TEXPROCIL with effect from 21.11.2016, after the completion of the tenure of Shri R. K. Dalmia.
 

Shri Ujwal R. Lahoti is the Executive Chairman of Lahoti Overseas Limited, a listed company.
 
He started his career in Marketing of textile products in the year 1978 and has vast experience in this field. Lahoti Overseas Limited is among the leading exporters of Cotton Yarns and other Textile products. The Company is focused in trading with continuous growth and many prestigious awards to its credit.  Shri Ujwal R. Lahoti also serves as a Board member of various Public and Private Limited Companies and Trust.
 
Dr. K V Srinivasan has been duly elected as Vice Chairman of TEXPROCIL. He is currently the Managing Director of Premier Mills Pvt. Ltd., Sree Narasimha Textiles Pvt. Ltd. and Premier Fine Linens Pvt. Ltd. He completed his B Tech in Textile Technology from PSG College of Technology in 1983.  He has obtained an MSc degree in Textile Technology in December 1984 from the University of Manchester and earned his Doctorate in December 1986. He has been a Committee member of The Cotton Textiles Export Promotion Council (TEXPROCIL) from 1998.

Shri R.K. Dalmia, Senior President –Century Textiles & Industries Ltd. is now the immediate Past Chairman of TEXPROCIL.
