Business Wire IndiaMesse Frankfurt Trade Fairs India together with Mesago Messe Frankfurt GmbH and P. E. Schall GmbH & Co. KG have announced that the third edition of SPS Automation India, Motek India and Control India – will take place in Mumbai. Scheduled from 8 – 10 June 2017 at Bombay Convention & Exhibition Centre, the co-located technology fairs will target technologies key to attaining manufacturing competitiveness for Indian players.
India is seeking technology partners to accelerate domestic manufacturing and improve their technology infrastructure. With the government‘s impetus on developing industrial corridors and smart cities along with rolling out major programmes such as Make in India, Digital India etc, there is a sharp innovation and technology led movement in the country. The national manufacturing policy is another strong step towards development of manufacturing industry. Vertical specific initiatives are being put in place by the government to enhance sector wise growth and production capacities in F&B, automotive, textile, pharmaceutical, petrochemicals etc.
Amidst all these advancements, India also needs to get ready for the Industry 4.0 revolution – where advanced manufacturing, quantum engineering, 3D printing, robotics and smart factories are expected to change the shop floor. A transformation like this can come about only if manufacturers are ready to master advanced industrial automation concepts and technologies for their fields. Preparing India for the next stage of this industrial revolution, SPS Automation India, Motek India and Control India will be the convergence point where man will talk to machines, technology experts will talk to industry decision makers and new innovations will come to the fore.
In keeping with the technology needs of the market, the co-located fairs will be dedicated to the latest in manufacturing concepts. SPS Automation India 2017 will focus on factory and process automation and applied solutions whereas Motek India will cover automation in assembly automation, robotics and material handling. Control India, on the other hand, will focus on instrumentation, measurement, opto-electronics and quality assurance. The trade fair, also comprising a conference, will cover a diverse mix of subjects, services and solutions in order to meet India’s demand as one of the fastest growing automation markets in the world.
Scheduled in the financial capital of the country, where the Make in India week was also initiated by the government last year, the co-located technology fairs are expected to bring together prospective decision makers and business leadership to create a strong network for technology procurement and knowledge exchange.
