INTHIA….Information Telecommunications & Handset Industry Association has been formed by industry professionals from Telecom Operators, Handset OEM-ODM, Suppliers, Manufacturers, Sales & Service from China, Taiwan & India.
 
                                                
The Indian chapter of INTHIA has been registered in Gurgaon and will begin its national agenda for Make in India initiative announced by the Government of India. Enthusiastically & proactively subscribed by over 16,000 mobile telephony professionals in various echelons of the gigantic eco-system all over India and overseas  via Social Media on messaging platform WhatsApp and over 5000 members on social media platform of Facebook, INTHIA is already established and an association to reckon with. As INTHIA gathers momentum, it will garner over 100,000 professionals from the information, telecommunications & handset industry domain till end of 2015.

The INTHIA mission includes testing & certification of handset companies, quality parameters, consumer satisfaction index and proposing of best market practices on retail front level by operators & handset companies. The association is laying a guideline under the Department of Electronics BIS division on safety & conformity standards for supply of quality telecom equipments to the end user.

 

INTHIA is currently operating out of China, Hong Kong, Taiwan and India and has professionals from USA, UK and Europe. It is also a platform for its members to have quality sourcing standards & certified authentic supplier forum for quality level imports in India, along with market entry solution for manufacturers in China to setup SKD facility in association with Indian Manufacturing and Trade community.

                                           
INTHIA plans to create a framework to protect the interests of domestic retail & distribution community in India, with embarking new framework laws for new market entrants in India telecom business domain.

INTHIA is co-developing a practical, on-the-ground sales & technical curriculum for Indian graduates to be enabled with the job skills to join the handset production, sales, distribution & telecom equipment industry and Make in India a success story, with an exclusive job portal for Telecom professionals.
