The Joint Secretary in the Department of Information Technology, Ministry of Telecom and IT, the Government of India, Dr. Ajay Kumar will inaugurate GIL 2016: India, to be held on 5th October at Hyatt Regency, Mumbai and address Industry CxOs on the Government’s vision for accomplishing India’s journey toward Digital Transformation and how enterprises could contribute to implementing this plan.
Dr. Kumar is credited with guiding the restructuring of several public undertakings under the Asian Development Bank programs; providing leadership to KELTRON (Kerala State Electronics Development Corporation) during a critical period in the undertaking’s history and putting the Kerala’s firmly on the path to e-Governance, citizen e-Empowerment, and full Internet connectivity. Senior leadership across all industry sectors will convene to discuss pertinent topics related to Digital Transformation and Customer Experience, and provide insights on industries that are experiencing its impact: Manufacturing, Mobility and Transportation, Energy, Media, Healthcare, etc.

She will talk about India’s economy amid the country’s Digitization story.
