Amar Ujala Join Hands with Legends of India, Launches Gharana and Parampara

Amar Ujala, in association with Legends of India launches Amar Ujala Gharana and Parampara, an initiative of the Amar Ujala Group to celebrate the spirit and ethos of ancient tradition in Indian Art Forms.

Taking the association forward with Legends of India, their 17th Annual Sangeet Mahotsav is an apt platform to launch this unique initiative. The event organized today in Kamani Auditorium pays tribute to late Pt. Shankar Ghosh. On this occasion, an ‘All Drum Orchestra’ composed by Pt. Shankar Ghosh titled ‘Music of the Drums’ shall play the inaugural number. The unique ‘Music of the Drums’ followed by the thundering beats of tabla solo by the maestro Bikram Ghosh. Rasikas in Delhi will also get an opportunity to enjoy the exceptional expertise of Ustad Rashid Khan in the slow elaboration of Vilambit Khayals accompanied by Tanmoy Bose on tabla.

With a line-up of the finest artists, Amar Ujala’s first show from its Gharana Parampara series, signals the beginning of a promising musical journey.
