Dr.R.S.Roy, the chief physician and M.D of Amrita Ayurveda Medical Centre, Tripunithura ,hailed from a family having rich heritage of Ayurveda. Dr. R.S Roy was born at Cherumoodu, Kundara Kollam as the elder son of Mr Raghavan and Mrs Sarojini Raghavan. After acquiring BAMS degree from the renowned Vaidyaratnam Ayurveda College, Ollur, he underwent training and practice under Ayurveda Acharya, late Sri. Kunju Raman Vaidyar, Pourasthya Pharmacy,Anchalummoodu ,Kollam which paved the way for success in his future career.
