Iconic American lifestyle brand Zippo is set to stoke music fans with exciting activities at India’s biggest and baddest hard rock and heavy metal music festival – Bangalore Open Air (BOA). The festival, which is in its sixth year, promises energetic performances, heavy metal kingpins and manic rock groups such as American Death Metal Veteran Band Nile as the headlining act, Swiss thrash metal band Coroner, Swedish Black Metal Band Marduk, space-themed extreme metal band Galaxy Crusher and Indian heavy metal band Kryptos, the true spearheads of the Indian metal revolution.

Zippo is all set to rock out at the festival on Saturday, 1st July 2017 at Royal Orchid Resort, Bangalore, where festival goers who visit the Zippo Encore area will be invited to get into the festival spirit with some awesome onsite activities. From celebrating their inner-passion through face-painting, to unleashing their creative spirits by submitting their own artistic designs for a chance to have their creation made into a real windproof lighter during the ‘Zippo Custom Contest’. Adding to the funk, Zippo fans can buy a Zippo lighter of choice from the range on display and also get their collectable’s serviced and refueled.

For the first time in India, Zippo gave the people of Bangalore a chance to participate in the Zippo Custom Contest before the festival itself at Garuda Mall over the past two weekends. To excite music lovers, Zippo also hosted a unique Zippo music master contest where the participants won exclusive music-inspired Zippo windproof lighters by recognizing iconic rock and metal songs played.
